Rear hip support for the Rabbit Up, positioned behind the pelvis to stop the hips sitting back into flexion during a stand. Children who lose extension as they fatigue often end up hinged at the hips, and this is the part that holds the position you set.
With the pelvis supported from behind, the child stands taller and the standing program does what it is meant to do for hip and trunk loading. The pad is adjustable for height and width so it can track a child’s growth between reviews, and it is sized across the frame range.
Your client’s therapist will usually pair it with a chest or front hip support depending on the tone pattern.
