This back support with side laterals mounts to the rear frame of the R82 Crocodile posterior walking aid and gives the child something to sit back against while walking.
It suits children who can take steps in the Crocodile but lose their upright position without contact at the pelvis and lower trunk. Holding the pelvis steadier and adding lateral control in the frontal plane frees the child to concentrate on stepping rather than on staying upright, which is often the difference between a session that progresses and one that tires everyone out.
Two sizes are made so the support matches the Crocodile frame in use. R82 also offers a plain back support and an adjustable padded back support for the largest frame, so there is room to change the set-up as the child develops.
