The R82 Crocodile is a posterior walking frame for children working on gait. The child walks inside the frame with the support behind them, which encourages an upright trunk and a more natural arm swing than an anterior frame allows.
Handle height and handle angle adjust without tools, so the frame can be reset quickly between users in a school or therapy setting, or as a child grows. The rear wheels have adjustable tension and a wheel stop that prevents the frame rolling backwards, useful early in gait training or on gentle slopes, and the front wheels have a directional stabiliser to help the child hold a line.
This configuration includes swing-away anti-tip tubes: they stay in place for stability and swing clear when the child needs to get close to a table, toilet or bench. The frame folds for transport, and a wide accessory range covers seating, forearm supports, hip supports, back and side supports and hand brakes, so it can be built up as the child’s needs change.
