A back support for the R82 Crocodile gait trainer, for a child who tends to sit back into the frame or lose position posteriorly while walking. It gives a point of contact behind the pelvis and trunk so the child can push forward from a stable base instead of drifting backwards out of the frame.
In practice it helps with two things. It keeps the child in the right position relative to the handles, which is what makes the arm support work, and it gives a therapist something to set up against when working on upright posture and step length. For a child who is anxious about walking, having something behind them often settles them enough to take more steps.
It fits the mid range Crocodile frames. Fit it as part of a full setup rather than on its own, since changing the trunk position will change where the handles and any forearm supports need to sit.
