Head control is often the difference between a child tolerating time in a stander and being placed back in a chair after five minutes. This anatomically shaped head support cradles the back and sides of the head, giving a resting position that holds without forcing, and it comes with the u-brackets needed to mount it.
The shaped contour is the point: a flat pad lets the head slide, while a contoured one gives the occiput somewhere to settle so the neck is not doing all the work. For a child with low tone, that means longer standing sessions and a better line of sight for looking at what is going on around them.
Three sizes are available so the support can be matched to the child’s head and changed as they grow. Mounting hardware is included, so nothing else is needed to fit it.
