The Zippie TS is a paediatric tilt in space chair available as a folding or a rigid frame, which makes it one of the few tilt chairs a family can fold down and fit into a small car.
The frame grows in both seat width and seat depth, so the chair keeps fitting as the child does and families are not back for a replacement every couple of years. Tilt is there for pressure relief, rest and head control through the day, and a foot release tilt actuator can be specified to do away with exposed cables, which is safer around busy children.
The folding frame is a light welded construction that compresses into a small package for transport or for storing in a flat with no spare room. Where a family travels often, that is usually the deciding factor.
