The Impact is built for the hardest use in the range. Where a client has high tone, is highly agitated or rocks continuously, an ordinary tilt frame works loose and fails early. The Impact uses ultra tough steel construction to take that punishment day after day.
It still offers the full Stellar tilt for pressure relief and positioning, so durability does not come at the cost of clinical function. For a service that has been replacing chairs faster than it should have to, the extra frame strength usually pays for itself.
A Dynamic Rocker Back absorbs movement from a client who rocks, and manual dynamic recline, transit tie downs to WC-19 and ISO-7176-19, and Easy-Out front rigging can be added.
