Mid-wheel drive means the chair turns close to its own centre, so a client who spends most of the day indoors can get around a kitchen, a bathroom doorway or a classroom without a three point turn. The Q400 M is the mid-wheel base in the Q400 range and it carries the smallest turning circle of the three drive positions.
It is paired here with SEDEO LITE seating: a height adjustable sling back with adjustable straps, optional seat and back comfort cushions in different contours, flip back armrests for transfer clearance and length compensating swing away legrests. Adjustments are scaled and need one tool, so the chair can be re-set as the client grows or their posture changes.
Controls run on VR2 or R-net, so the chair can be built with a standard joystick now and moved to more complex controls later.
