The Quickie 2 is a folding manual wheelchair for people who self-propel every day and want the chair set up around them. The frame is modular, so seat height, back angle, camber and axle position can be changed as a client’s function, posture or environment shifts, without replacing the whole chair.
The cross brace is made from 7000 series aerospace aluminium, which keeps the chair light to push and light to lift into a boot while still carrying a solid user weight. For a client who transfers independently, that combination of a low kerb weight and a folding frame is what makes daily use realistic.
It is a highly configurable product, so an OT or physio can specify seat dimensions, wheels, castors and upholstery to suit the prescription.
