It runs a one in four alternation cycle, so three quarters of the body stays supported while one cell in four deflates. That keeps the surface stable for a client who is anxious about movement or who has difficulty holding position in bed. Automatic weight sensing runs continuously and the Fowler boost responds when the backrest is raised.
The heel zone has its own cells that can be disconnected to offload the heels, and a lower safety cell stays inflated underneath so the client cannot bottom out if pressure is lost. The base is fully sealed for infection control, the cover is latex free, and battery backup keeps therapy running through a power outage. A bed exit alarm is available.
