About this product

Weight is the thing that decides whether a rollator gets used or left in the hallway. If a client has to lift their own frame into a car boot, or a partner has to do it for them, an aluminium rollator can be the barrier. The Ellipse SuperLite is Peak Care’s carbon fibre answer: noticeably lighter to lift while still carrying a sensible rated load.

The handles adjust without tools and the brakes adjust without tools too, so a service can set it up and fine tune it in the client’s home. It folds sideways for the boot, and a nylon under-seat bag and a cane holder are standard. The small runs the same wheels all round; the medium takes larger front wheels for kerbs and rough paths.

Size it by the client’s height and check that the seat lets them sit with their feet flat: the small suits a shorter adult, the medium most people up to around average male height. A client above the rated load, or one who leans heavily on the frame and needs the mass of a wider rollator for stability, is safer on a steel or bariatric model.
