About this product

The OSKA Aria Series 4 does its work without a pump. Interconnected air cells sit under a pressure-relieving foam topper and react each time the client is repositioned, moving air between cells to spread the load. There is no power lead, no noise, no settings to get wrong and nothing for a carer to switch back on after a transfer.

OSKA rates it for prevention and treatment of pressure damage up to category 2, or category 3 where the client is on a turning regime. A heel relief slope takes load off the heels, and firm side walls hold their shape for edge-of-bed sitting and standing transfers. The anti-shear V-Guard cover uses welded seams, and the base is rated for fire evacuation, so the client can be slid off the bed on the mattress itself.

It suits clients at moderate risk who need more than static foam but where a pump is impractical: a client distressed by pump noise, a bedroom with no spare power point, or a couple sharing a wider bed. The wider sizes are built for one occupant with more room to move, not for two. A client with an established category 3 or 4 injury who cannot be turned should be assessed for a higher level of pressure care.
