Children grow, and back supports usually do not. This one does: the height adjusts steplessly inside the shell, so a child’s back can be raised a little at a time through the years they are in the same chair.
Who it suits
Paediatric manual and power chair users who need mild contouring and reliable pelvic support, and families or schools where funding a replacement back every growth spurt is not workable. The contour is subtle, which leaves an active child free to move, and optional lateral pads can be added where more trunk contact or width adjustment is needed.
It is very light, which matters for a parent lifting the chair into a car, and the mounting hardware is removable with quick release, so the back comes off for transport. The hardware fits common back cane diameters without shims, so it can be moved to the next chair when the time comes.
