Having both covers matters more than it sounds. The fabric cover is kinder against the head and neck for everyday use, while the wipe down cover suits a client who drools, is fed enterally, or uses the chair in a shared setting where the pad has to be cleaned between users. With two covers on hand, the pad stays in service while one is in the wash instead of the client going without head support for a day.
Three pad shapes run across the MultiFit range, from a small contoured pad that cups the back of the head through to larger rectangular pads that give a broader, flatter contact area.
