This is a pelvic back support with deep, depth adjustable lateral contours, so the shell wraps around the pelvis and lower trunk and holds the client on the mid line. It suits someone with reasonable trunk control who still drifts laterally as the day goes on, or who needs a firm base under a more supportive thoracic setup.
The contour depth is set by the fitter, which means the same shell can be dialled in tight for a slim client or opened out for a wider build. A scapula cut-out keeps the upper back clear, so a self propelling client gets full shoulder movement without the shell catching.
The cushion is dual density foam with gel infused visco through it and a stretch cover that comes off for washing, which matters for anyone sitting long hours or managing skin risk. Pelvic and lumbar pads come with it, so lumbar fill can be added at the fitting.
