When a person is being lifted on the Molift Stretcher, the belts are what hold them steady through the transfer. This set is the manufacturer’s own restraint for that stretcher, supplied as three belts so the body can be secured at more than one point.
Etac recommend using safety belts with the stretcher, and for good reason: a client who is unconscious, post surgical, or unable to hold a position needs to be held in place while the hoist takes the load and while the stretcher swings clear of the bed or the floor. Having a matched set on hand means carers are not improvising with whatever is in the room.
Keep a set with each stretcher so the belts are always where the transfer happens. We can supply replacements when the originals wear.
