A sit to stand hoist only works well when the client’s feet are planted at the right height. This adjustable footboard raises the foot position on a Molift Quick Raiser 1 or 2, so a shorter adult, an adolescent or a child can reach the plate properly and take part in the stand.
With the feet correctly positioned the client’s knees sit against the knee pads at a sensible angle, the lift follows a more natural standing pattern, and the carer is not fighting a client who is sliding forward on the plate.
It locks on and off the leg base, so a shared hoist can be reset between clients in a mixed residential or respite setting.
