The Molift Air 500 is the bariatric ceiling hoist motor in the Molift range, specified where a client’s weight, or the combined weight of a client and a supportive stretcher or seat, needs the top capacity in the system.
Who it suits
It is for plus size clients who need full sling transfers, and for services planning ahead where a client’s weight is rising or unpredictable. The long hoisting interval is useful in rooms with high ceilings and in situations where the client has to be lowered close to the floor, such as recovery after a fall or hydrotherapy access.
It charges in the rail, so it is ready whenever the carers need it, and it keeps the same quiet operation and soft start and stop as the rest of the range. Emergency lowering can be triggered mechanically or electrically, and the emergency stop resets from floor level.
Bariatric installs need the rail and the ceiling structure checked first.
