This is the Minstrel mobile hoist with the electronic scale built in. The client is weighed while they are already in the sling, so no separate weighing transfer is needed and the reading gets recorded as part of the normal routine.
That suits clients whose weight is being watched: anyone on a nutrition plan, people with fluid retention or oedema, palliative clients, and anyone whose medication is dosed by weight. For a support coordinator it also gives the care team something consistent to report on.
Everything else is the standard Minstrel. Four point loop hoist bar for loop slings, solid hanger bar to limit swing, low friction castors, and controls on both the hoist and the handset. It is aimed at daily transfers with a dependent client in a home or a small facility, and it comes with one battery and one charger.
