The Minstrel is Arjo’s loop sling mobile hoist for everyday transfers with a dependent client. It uses a four point loop hoist bar, so slings clip on by their loops and the carer can adjust the sitting or reclined angle by changing which loop goes where.
Who it suits
It is built for routine, repeated transfers in a home or a small facility: bed to chair, chair to shower commode, and recovery from the floor. The solid hanger bar limits swing, which keeps the client settled and the carer in control, and the low friction castors make it manageable to push over carpet and across doorways.
Controls sit on the hoist and on the handset, so a carer can work from whichever side of the client suits the room. The unit ships with one battery and one charger.
