A fixed ceiling hoist takes the floor space, the pushing and the twisting out of a transfer. The HeliQ sits on a rail above the bed, the bathroom or the chair and is ready whenever the client needs it.
The unit is compact and low profile, so it sits quietly in a bedroom or bathroom without dominating the room. Traverse can be manual, for a carer comfortable guiding the client along the rail, or powered when that push is beyond them or when the client drives the hoist themselves.
Hanger bars come in two point and four point versions at several widths, and gates and turntables can be added where the run has to cross a doorway or branch into a second room. Usage data is recorded by the unit for maintenance planning.
