The Norfolk Ergo is a height adjustable mid back day chair for a client who needs a generous safe working load and a seat that sits at the right height for standing up from. This is the wider bariatric model.
Built in lower lumbar support and a curved backrest hold the pelvis and spine in a reasonable sitting position through a long afternoon. The armrests run the full length of the arm and overhang the front of the seat, so the client has something solid to push down on when rising and a carer is not taking all the load.
Height is set by push pin in small increments and the seat depth is factory set at fitting, so it can be matched to the individual. The powder coated tubular steel frame and wipeable upholstery suit aged care and shared settings.
