A mayo instrument table gives a clinician a tray at working height, positioned right over the procedure area and moved out of the way when it is not needed.
It is standard equipment in an operating room and useful in any treatment or procedure room where instruments and dressings need to be within reach but off the bed. The height adjusts and the base rolls, so it can be set over a bed or trolley and repositioned mid procedure without lifting.
