The Maxi Twin is Arjo’s mobile passive hoist for clients who cannot weight bear and need full sling support for every transfer. This build has the four point hoist bar and the Powered Dynamic Positioning System, so the carer can tilt the client between a more upright sitting posture and a reclined one from the handset, while the client stays supported.
Who it suits
Four point support spreads the load across the sling and holds the shoulders and hips in better alignment, which helps clients with high tone, contractures or pain on handling. Powered positioning is what makes the difference at the end of the transfer: getting the client back in the chair or back into the bed without a carer hauling on the sling.
The open base design lets you bring the legs around wheelchairs and chairs, and the rear castors brake for a stable lift.
