The XT2 is the chair for a client whose problem is distance. Large batteries and twin in-line geared motors are there so a long day out does not end in a phone call for a lift home, and the ride is set up for sitting in for hours rather than for short hops.
It is a bigger chair than the rest of the Magic Mobility range and it is meant to be. The generous seat pan takes Magic Mobility rehab seating or an aftermarket system, legrests can be centre post, manual elevating or powered swingaway, and the R-Net controller comes with an LCD or LED display. Three colours are standard.
Because the turning circle is wide, it belongs with clients who have room to move at home or who transfer to it for outdoor use. Tie-down points are crash test compliant for travelling in a vehicle. The motors are splash resistant but not waterproof, so the chair must not be driven through water, creeks or the sea. The chair shown is for reference and not every item pictured is standard.
