About this product

Front wheel drive changes what a powerchair can do indoors. With the drive wheels leading, the Frontier V4 FWD pulls itself into corners rather than swinging around them, so a client who lives with tight doorways, a small kitchen or a desk they need to get right under will find it far less work than a rear-drive base.

The off-road wheel package is the point of this build. Bigger tyres and the all-wheel suspension let your client leave the footpath: gravel driveways, grass, tracks and the rough ground between a car park and wherever they are actually going. Gel batteries and in-line geared motors give it torque to spare on a climb, and the same frame takes crossover or urban wheels later if their use changes, so the chair can follow the client rather than being replaced.

Seating is built to script on an adjustable seat pan that takes Magic Mobility’s own rehab seating or an aftermarket system, with a range of powered and manual legrest options and R-Net electronics. Tie-down points are crash test compliant for vehicle transport. The motors are splash resistant but not waterproof, so the chair must never be driven through water, creeks or the sea. Premium colours are available at extra cost.
