Who it suits
Squiggles+ is a four in one stander for young children, supporting prone, supine, upright and true abduction standing in the one frame. It sits close to the ground so the child is at eye level with siblings and classmates.
The abduction is anatomically correct, with pivot points in line with the hips, which stabilises the joint and gives useful loading for early hip development. Hip laterals shift with the child’s leg as the hips abduct, so they do not dig into the top of the thigh, and an abduction gauge lets you record and repeat a setting between sessions.
Wrap around knee supports spread pressure and hold the knee in neutral, and can be rotated for extra lateral support where tone is low. Larger hip pads and a pivot chassis with a foot pedal make transfers steadier and easier on the carer. Individual footplates accommodate a leg length difference, and the activity tray works in both prone and supine.
This kit is supplied with hip and chest supports, knee cups, footplates and a tray mount.
