For a child who needs contoured trunk support rather than flat pads, this version builds the contour wings into the shell itself. The wings adjust for both width and height, so you can open them out as the child grows or bring them in when a curve needs closer control.
It is the same Axiom for Kids shell underneath, formed aluminium with lighter density foam suited to paediatric loading, and it fits chairs a size either side of its nominal width. Depth adjustment is built into the hardware, which lets you set the back position without shimming or replacing brackets.
Dex for Kids mounting is standard and includes a lockout latch, so the back stays on the posts through transfers and car travel. The cover is breathable, wipes down and comes off for laundering.
