About this product

Reach matters on a power add on. If the handlebar sits too far forward, the client drives with their shoulders protracted and their trunk pulled off the backrest, which gets tiring quickly and costs them stability over rough ground.

This extension brings the standard handlebar closer to the body so the arms can work in a more neutral position. It suits clients with shorter reach, limited shoulder range, or a seating setup that positions them further back in the chair, and it is often the difference between a device that gets used and one that sits in the shed.

A technician fits and sets the position, and it can be adjusted later if the client’s seating or posture changes. Worth considering at handover for anyone who reports shoulder fatigue after a short drive.
