It suits a client using the device for short local trips and for occasions where the chair and add on have to be lifted into a car by the user or a partner. A second pack is also useful where someone is out for most of the day and has no reliable way to charge while they are away from home.

Lithium packs fade with age, so a device that used to cover a full morning and now does not is often a battery problem, not a motor problem.
