Children with a settled postural presentation who need consistent trunk containment and do not need the support positions moved about. The lateral supports are fixed into the formed aluminium shell, which keeps the set up simple for families and school staff who handle the chair every day.
A lumbar support is included, so the back arrives ready to encourage an upright pelvis rather than needing a separate part ordered in. Foam is a lighter density suited to smaller bodies, and the shell is sized for smaller torsos rather than cut down from adult stock.
Built in depth adjustment lets you set the back position on the chair, and the shell accommodates wheelchair widths a size either side, which buys time when the chair changes before the seating does. Dex for Kids hardware with a lockout latch comes standard, and the cover is breathable, wipeable and removable.
