General use covers a client with intact skin and reasonable sitting balance. Positioning adds medial and lateral shaping for a client who needs the pelvis and legs held. Skin protection works on immersion and envelopment for a client at risk. The fluid and adjustable versions go further again for clients with a history of breakdown or a pelvis that does not stay put.
The foam versions are moulded from high IFD polyurethane, which is what lets the pre contoured shape hold up under load through the first few months and well beyond.
Covers are four way stretch with a water resistant zip, so surface tension stays low across the sitting surface and the foam is protected from spills.
