A visco memory foam top layer conforms to the individual and spreads load over a wider area, sitting over a firmer base layer that carries the structure. Firmness is matched to cushion width and the user weight range that goes with it, so the cushion behaves consistently for a light client and for a heavier one.
There are two covers. The inner one is water resistant, with an aqua-guard zip and anti-wicking thread to keep fluid off the foam. The outer is machine washable, carries a silver ion fibre against bacteria, and has a spacer fabric layer that moves air and lets moisture away from the skin. It is a straightforward cushion for a client who transfers often and wants something light to handle.
