A pelvic belt that closes with hook and loop, with a D ring to pull the adjustment through. The closure is forgiving, which helps a client with limited grip or limited fine motor control do it up themselves, and the D ring gives them something to hook a finger or a thumb into.
It mounts through grommets, bolting to the seat pan or the chair frame at set points so the belt sits where you positioned it each time.
Think of it as a reminder belt: it cues the client to stay back in the seat and is undone without a great deal of force. Check that against the level of security your client’s risk assessment calls for.
