Some clients can and should undo their own belt. The side release buckle on this two point pelvic belt is squeezed from both sides, which is a movement many clients manage independently and which carers can operate one handed during a busy transfer.
The unpadded build keeps the belt low profile across the lap, so it works under clothing and beside other equipment without adding bulk. Two point anchoring keeps the setup straightforward on most chair frames.
Consider it where independence at the buckle is part of the goal, or where a support worker needs to release the belt quickly. Sizes are chosen at order so the length suits the client’s pelvis and the chair.
