A two point pelvic belt for a client who needs their pelvis held back in the seat but does not need padding across the front. The webbing runs from two attachment points to a central push button buckle, which is a shape most clients and carers read straight away.
Because the contact area is small, the belt stays out of the way of a transfer sling, a stoma site or an abdominal binder, and there is less bulk sitting under clothing. Webbing comes in two widths so you can match the belt to the size of the client and the amount of force you expect it to take.
The push button release needs a deliberate press, which suits a client who should not be able to undo the belt without help.
