Posture slips quietly. The client starts the day upright and finishes it slumped and sliding, and by then the shoulders are rounded and the pelvis has rolled back. The Matrx PB gives a moderate lateral contour that holds the trunk in alignment and helps the client keep seated control through the day.
It is built on a lightweight ABS shell with moulded Ultra-Fresh foam that wraps the shell edges, finished in a breathable Meshtex cover. A reinforcement plate is built into the shell for an optional headrest, which is worth knowing at the point of prescription because it saves changing the back later. A Visco foam upgrade is available where comfort is the priority.
Easy Set hardware adjusts for depth, angle and rotation on manual and power chairs, and the mounting will accommodate a chair slightly narrower or wider than the back. Width and height options cover most adult prescriptions.
