About this product

An unsupported arm is a problem you see every day: the shoulder drags, the hand swells, and the limb ends up hanging off the side of the chair where it can catch on a doorway. The Invacare Ergo arm trough cradles the forearm along its length and holds it in a neutral position on the armrest.

It is useful for a client with hemiplegia, a flaccid upper limb, an oedematous hand or shoulder subluxation, and for anyone whose arm needs to be kept inside the footprint of the chair for safe propulsion. Ordering is by side, left or right, so you fit the limb that needs it. A flat hand pad and a desk to full armrest extension are available separately where the setup calls for them.
