The heavy duty Action 4NG carries the extra load through a double cross brace frame, and this configuration is ordered with adjustable seat depth so the fit can be corrected after handover.

The double brace is what makes the difference in use: it keeps the frame stable when the client shifts weight or transfers in and out, and it makes the chair track straighter when it is being self propelled or pushed. Lightweight aluminium castor housings and rear wheel fittings keep the overall weight down, so the carer is not paying for the extra capacity every time they lift it into a car.

Seat width, depth, height and angle are all specified at order, and the chair takes Invacare’s cushion and backrest range if your client needs more postural support than the standard upholstery gives.
