The midi drawsheet covers the trunk and hips, which is where most in bed repositioning work happens. Laid over a base sheet, the satin underside slides in all four directions, so a carer can move your client up the bed, down, or across with a controlled pull.

Handles stitched along the sides give a firm hold at a sensible working height, so carers are not reaching across the mattress or gripping at the linen. That takes a lot of the load off the lower back on a roster of regular turns.

The shorter length is easier to launder and to fit around a client who still has some movement in their legs and only needs assistance through the middle of the body. It works as part of a set with the base sheet beneath it.
