A knee break support for the VFit chair, used where a client slides forward in the seat or carries too much load through the sacrum. Raising and breaking the knees shifts weight off the sacral area and onto lower risk surfaces along the thighs.
It also helps with fluid management by keeping the lower legs raised, offloads the heels, and gives a stable base for general lower limb positioning during long sitting sessions.
The support clips into the chair and comes out again for cleaning or when it is not needed, so the chair can be reconfigured as a client’s needs change.
