A static partner bed for couples who want to keep sharing a bedroom when one person moves into an adjustable homecare bed. Pushed alongside an Icare homecare bed, it lines up to create one continuous sleeping surface with no gap between the mattresses.
Who it suits
It suits a partner who does not need profiling themselves, and it works equally well on its own as a spare or carer bed. The fixed low base height keeps the mattress close to the floor, which makes sitting to stand safer for an older person, and there is enough underbed clearance for a mobile hoist or a floor lifter to pass beneath.
The timber frame and slat platform are built for daily use, with a choice of leg heights and either castors or glides depending on whether the bed needs to move. Optional headboards and over-bed tables finish it so the room stays looking domestic.
