The Icare Hydrosense PVC Mattress Pad in medium is a multi purpose therapy pad for covering the back, torso or another larger area of the body, in bed or on a chair.
It connects to the Hydrosense unit and circulates temperature controlled water through the pad, so the client gets even cooling or warmth across the whole contact area, with no cold spot that fades away. The PVC construction wipes clean quickly, which is why it works well where equipment moves between clients in aged care, rehabilitation and community settings.
Because no electricity passes beyond the control unit, only water, it is a reassuring option for clients using therapy while asleep or unattended. The pad is one part of the system and needs the Hydrosense unit to work.
