Chairs are built to an average shape, and most of them leave a gap behind the lower back. The Supporta Back Cushion fills that gap so the lumbar curve is supported and the client is not holding themselves upright with muscle effort all day.
The ActiveX core is heat and pressure sensitive, so it softens against the body and moulds to the shape of the back rather than pushing back. Contoured lateral supports on either side cradle the trunk and add stability for a client who tends to lean. An adjustable strap and clip hold it in place on the chair so it does not slide down through the day.
It moves easily between an office chair, a car seat, a lounge chair and a wheelchair, which makes it useful for clients who spend long stretches sitting in more than one place. The cover unzips for washing.
