Queens Angled cutlery does two jobs at once. The built-up handle suits a weak or limited grasp, because the hand does not need to close as far to hold it securely. The angled head is what separates it from the straight Queens pieces: it brings the bowl or the tines to the mouth without the forearm and wrist having to rotate, which is the movement most often lost or painful.
Angled forks and spoons are made in left-handed and right-handed versions, so the angle works with the hand the client actually eats with rather than against it. The angled knife has a blade set for a rocking cut. Handles are lightweight ABS, cylindrical and slightly tapered, with stainless steel heads, and every piece is dishwasher safe.
Straight built-up pieces, a spork and a Nelson knife are available in the same Queens range where a different grip or cutting action suits the client better.
