Three separate compartments, each with a wall to push food against, make this dish useful for clients who scoop their food and who lose it over the edge of an ordinary plate.
The high sides give a consistent edge to load a utensil from, which helps people with ataxia, neurological conditions, limited coordination or the use of only one hand. Keeping foods apart also suits clients who need portions controlled or who find a mixed plate visually confusing. Between the dividers the surface stays flat, so food can still be cut on it.
It is made from polypropylene and is free of BPA, phthalates and latex, and the dish goes on the top rack of the dishwasher. The red finish gives strong contrast against most foods for clients with low vision.
