Handi-Move ceiling track is the running rail a ceiling hoist travels along, and it is the part of the system that decides where a client can actually be taken. Get the layout right and one hoist covers bed, chair and shower.
The rail is white painted aluminium, so it resists corrosion in a bathroom and reads as part of the ceiling rather than as equipment. It can be fixed to the ceiling or run wall to wall, including through a false ceiling where the structure allows. Curved sections, traverse rails, points and turntables let a run change direction or cover a whole room instead of one straight line.
Plastic wheels inside the rail keep the hoist quiet in use, which is worth more than it sounds in a bedroom at two in the morning or in a shared living area.
Ceiling track is not an off the shelf item. Rail length, layout and fixing method are set by a site measure and the building structure, so book an assessment with us before specifying.
