About this product

The distal abductor sits low on the Grillo and keeps the legs apart at the level where a scissoring pattern usually starts. For a client whose adductor tone pulls the knees together as soon as they take weight, holding that separation is what makes a step possible at all.

It gives the legs a defined track to swing through, which cleans up the gait pattern and stops one leg catching the other mid step. Clinically that means a client can practise a more typical pattern for longer, and a therapist can work on step length while the legs stay clear of each other.

It adjusts on the frame, so the width can be opened up or brought in as tone changes through a session or across a block of therapy, and it comes in sizes to match the Grillo.
