The Rhea with Twilight does everything a good lift recliner should, helping the user up to standing and lowering them back into the seat, and adds a resting position most recliners cannot reach. Twilight tilts the whole seat and back together, so the user’s feet come up above the level of their heart while their body stays supported, rather than sliding down the chair.
MaxiComfort positioning gives five comfort zones: headrest, lumbar, backrest, seat and footrest. Each moves on its own, and the AutoDrive hand control stores favourite positions so the user can return to them at one touch. The arms have a cup holder, dual storage, a USB port and a wireless phone charger, plus a power port with an LED light. The back is quick-release, the chaise seat has pocketed coils, and a lithium-ion battery backup is built in. The Sinda polyurethane cover is water resistant.
Who it suits
Someone who needs help to stand up from a chair and spends long periods sitting, at home or in aged care, and wants more ways to change position and rest with their legs raised. The large has a wider, deeper and higher seat than the medium, for taller or larger users. The right size depends on height, leg length and weight. Whether a raised-leg or tilted position suits a particular person is a decision for their OT or health professional. Book a trial at home or in one of our showrooms, Tasmania-wide.
