About this product

A simple angled foot rest for a client whose feet do not reach the floor comfortably when seated. Unsupported feet pull the pelvis forward and end up as sacral sitting, back ache and pressure through the seat, so getting the feet landed is usually the first thing to fix in a seated posture.

The top is angled rather than flat, which lets the ankle sit in a more neutral position and takes tension off the calf. Rubber tips stop it sliding on hard floors or vinyl, and it is light enough for a client or carer to reposition without help.

It works alongside a lounge chair, a dining chair or a wheelchair, and it is a low cost first step before considering anything more involved.
